Terms and conditions .

  • Payment for all works must be made in full prior to vessel being returned, or prior to the works being completed.

  • For any works where a pre agreement of payment terms are made to pay the invoice after completion, invoice must be paid on due date listed on invoice.

  • If payment is not made on this date all discounts will be removed and interest will be charged 2 per cent above the cash rate fixed by the reserve bank of Australia.

  • We withhold the right to remove any items fitted to a vessel that have not been paid for.

  • If any additional works are asked to be added onto the original quote after works have started, this will be charged out @ $150ph plus consumables. unless stated otherwise in writing.

  • Prices may vary up to 30% from original quoted works.

  • For all jobs over $2000.00 a 50% deposit is required up front. 

  • Incentive payments will be required for any works over $10,000.00. 

  • Progress reports will be given during the works, if any issues are for seen they must be brought up prior to completion of works.

  • JE Yachting must be provided with the opportunity to resolve/ repair any issues specified.

  • All issues must be reasonable and align with the price paid for the works completed. 

  • By approving the quoted works, estimations or verbal agreements, you agree to all of these terms and conditions.

  • The following avenues are available to you if you are not happy with this bill: 

  • Discuss your concerns with me. 

  • Request an itemised bill. You must do this within 10 days from the date which the costs become payable. I will provide an itemised bill at no charge. However, if you request an itemised bill and the total amount specified in the itemised bill exceeds the amount previously specified in the lump sum bill for the same matter, then I may be able to recover the higher costs should the matter proceed to a costs assessment or a binding determination. 

  • Have my costs assessed before the Supreme Court Costs Court
